Home remedies for skin-

Acne – apply lemon juice and wash your face with castile soap that contain  no detergents. Apply bentonite clay with apple cider vinegar as facial masks. Leave it for half an hour, then wash off with water.

Eczema- Apply raw potato or crushed daikon radishes.

In addition, blood purifying herbs are beneficial. Herbs such as: Dandelion, burdock root, red clover blossoms and  milk thistle dries dampness and cleanse the lymph system. Burdock root tea is a great tea for autumn to clean colon.

Eating for your skin-

Lung/large intestine associated with skin and fall season. Many fall season vegetables/fruits are yellow/ orange color  and very high in vitamin A and beneficial for skin. Sweet potato, squash, pumpkin, carrot, apples and pear are specially nurturing for your skin. Salmon, cod, sardine and haddock are high in omega 3 fatty acid and moisten the skin. Sesame seeds and sunflower seeds lubricate intestine and assist detoxification process.
