It was good to see you here. Eating principle would be: low sugar, high fiber diet. Therapeutic foods: garlic, apple, celery, cherries.
Food high in fiber: flax seed (grind them right before you use and keep it in frig.) yogurt, beans, oat bran and increase omega -3 fatty acids:nuts, seed oils, salmon, herring, sardine, walnuts, black current oil.
Avoid: trans-fatty and hydrogenated oil: margarine, vegetable shortenings, commercial peanut butter, oxidized fats like, deep fried foods, fast food, barbecued meats.
Avoid refined and simple sugar, white flour, processed food.
Supplements: CoQ10 100-200 mg per day (depends on how high is your cholesterol)
Fish oil (Nordic Natural bran) : 1000-2000 mg per day
Red yeast Rice 2400 mg per day, you can buy this in whole food stores.
Follow the above guideline and do a blood test after 3 months. It’s better not to take Red yeast rice for more than 3 months.
